Graham Blackman
Graham attained First Class Honours in Psychology at the University of Bath, which included a one-year internship at Harvard University. Since graduating he has held research positions at the MRC Institute of Hearing Research and the University of Nottingham and is currently a student on the Graduate Entry Medicine course at the University of Birmingham. An enthusiastic teacher, Graham has assisted Developmedica in supporting prospective medical school students since 2008.
Uday Dandekar
Uday has gained over 20 years of surgical experience since qualifying from medical school in Mumbai, India. He has completed Masters degrees in General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of both Glasgow and Edinburgh. He has also worked in a clinical capacity in the USA having completed his USMLE and is a practicing consultant cardiac surgeon, having achieved his FRCS (CTh). He brings with him a wealth of clinical experience and is a keen teacher. He serves as a consultant for Radcliffe Learning’s interview skills courses, as well as on the advisory panel for Radcliffe Learning.
Shaun Finegan
Shaun has worked for major corporations for over 30 years with a real passion for helping people develop their management and leadership abilities through their personal growth & development. The courses Shaun has delivered in the NHS to date include: “Management & Leadership Training for Senior Doctors”, “Teach the Teacher”, “Appraisal Skills”, “Presentation Skills” and “Team Understanding/Building for Senior Personnel”. Shaun is also a member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute for Personnel & Development). His own CPD involves constant research and implementation of the ‘best practice’ strategies to help people develop and achieve their full potential. Shaun supports Radcliffe Learning in a facilitator role on our courses.
Peter Hobson
Peter Hobson has been innovating and presenting in the training environment for over 30 years. A gifted and charismatic speaker and presenter, Peter has built a strong reputation of commitment to both personal and professional excellence. He’s also been a professional angler, international marathon runner and part-time adventurer, with runs across the Sahara and Everest (twice) on his resume. Peter works with us in a facilitator role for a wide range of our courses.
Gerry Kitchingman
Gerry’s career has been predominantly in medical research, both in the pharmaceutical sector and in teaching hospitals. Originally trained as a scientist, she became keenly interested in people development and expanded her career into training and human resources. As an accredited trainer for the Institute of Leadership and Management, she delivers a range of management development programmes from junior to senior level across a variety of sectors. Gerry is also a qualified Myers Briggs practitioner and uses this experience to enhance her special interest which lies with personality dynamics and team development. She facilitates courses on behalf of Radcliffe Learning.
Johanna Ricketts
Johanna Ricketts has several years of HR specialist experience as the Director for Public Health training programmes within the NHS East Midlands Deanery. She is a chairperson on NHS recruitment panels and a member of CIPD – a specialist management organization specifically for Human Resource strategies and development. She is an expert in high level A and B psychometric and ability testing, recruitment and learning and development.
Tania Van Hospenthal
Tania’s career in the medical arena started in 2004 with the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman, working in the Clinical Advice Directorate as a business manager. This experience led to wanting to be able to make a change at a different level where the common theme of complaints stemmed from – consistent training standards for doctors. For the next three years Tania worked at the PMETB, where she was involved in the initial set up of the Certification Directorate as the Interim Head of Certification and the development of the Article 14 (4), Article 14(5) and (5)(b) procedures and processes. From this position she moved to the Interim Certification Development Analyst working on developing all areas of Article 14, including: Specialty Specific Guidance, the assessment process of applications, reviews, appeals and training of PMETB staff and Royal Colleges as required. With this wealth of experience Tania is involved in providing our range of Article 14 PMETB support services.
Tony Woollett
Tony has approaching 30 years corporate experience in various technical, sales/marketing and management roles. He is a qualified NLP and TFT Practitioner and helps individuals to overcome their fears, anxieties and phobias. He specialises in behavioural and business process change and works with NHS doctors, middle and senior management. Tony regularly delivers programmes in leadership, assertiveness, communication, time management and uses his passion to help individuals develop their own resources and potential through his focus on making programmes relevant and fun. He helps deliver a range of courses on behalf of Radcliffe Learning.
